Outbox Error

I have Outlook97 and my system is "stopped" by a message
in the outbox. It started to send it but never
finished. I am not able to delete it and when I try to
send and recieve it stops there and will not proceed any
further. I have disabled (Norton) antivirus and I have
copied all of the mapi files in the systems32 folder.

I am getting errors about the mapi spooler and
mapisp32.exe file.

To remove the message you need to place Outlook in Off-line mode (File->
Work Off-line). Restart Outlook and try it to delete it again.
