We recently converted over to Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003 as the Server.
One of our Administrative Assistants started getting a very strange thing
happen when she sent out emails....while she composed them the emails looked
OK, but when she sent them certain sections of the email would go from
regular font to Bold Font.
She was using Glacier Stationary for this under the Mail Format tab.
The only thing we could figure out might be going on is that something in
her stationary was reading some of the lines (she would tripple space between
paragraphs) as Headers...we compared the emails that had the inappropriate
fonts with the ones that had actual subject headers that were bolded.
Turning off this stationary seemed to solve the problem, but this end user
has an asthetic directive that her emails must look above the ordinary,
coming from the Administration Department.
One final note: We only had license for Outlook 2003 on the roll out, not
the entire Office 2003 Suite. Brace yourselves for it, we are still using
Office 97 for everything else (Outlook had never been installed with that
package since we were using Netscape Email, and then Lotus Notes...which we
just came to Outlook 2003 from)
Any insights?
