Outgoing mail server

Hey there,
I have been trying to fix this problem for hours! Please help!

I just set up my email pop account on Entourage, and i do receive
emails just fine. However, i cannot send any emails. I checked with my
internet provider and tried different server ids but with no luck.

let me know if you have any advice for me.

It's probably a account authentication problem - in the account
settings dialog, double check the sending mail server address is
correct. Then click on 'advanced sending options' and try setting
authentication on with 'use same settings as receiving mail server'.
These settings are correct for most users.

Have you tried an alternate port for SMTP? Usually 587 works it port
25 doesn't.

Just a thought!
