Outgoing Message Rule problem with Google IMAP

Entourage 2004 OS X 10.5.2

I have two IMAP accounts, one is for Googlemail. I have a outgoing message
rule that runs an applescript for every piece of outgoing mail (it appends
the message to an database so that I have a searchable log of all mail).

I had the rule set to run for all messages. Works like a charm for IMAP1;
but nothing happens for mail sent through Google.

I tried setting up two rules: one if account is IMAP1, the other if account
is Google IMAP. Again works like a charm for IMAP1, but nothing happens for
mail sent through Google.

Any ideas?
