Outgoing Name

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange I have gone into the "Edit Account" menu, in the "Account Settings" and under "Personal Information" and changed "Name" to be my name the way I want it to display on outgoing messages, but the display keeps reverting back to the way my company displays my name in their exchange account. Is there another way to change how my name displays in my outgoing mail. My company won't change it. In the older version of entourage, I was able to change it. Thanks.

I've seen it on one of my servers too. The name is changed by the server
itself and there is nothing you can do about it unfortunately.
They have to change it :-\

I was having the same problem, but seem to have solved it. I needed to delete the original email from my own contact in the address book. I have several email accounts and they were all in my address book under my name, so I think that's why the one I wanted to change kept reverting.
