Outline view default

Tom.

How can I make the Outline View the default for printing any presentation
rather than slides?

Hi Tom, this depends on if you mean for you or for everyone.

If for you, then select Tools => Options => Print (tab) => select bullet
'Use the following print settings' => Change to Outline view => OK out of
the dialog box.

Hi Bill,

thanks for this but I do want to know how to set it as the default for
everyone. That way the four group printers attached to the 153 desktop
machines in my library will all print outline views whenever a student prints
the powerpoint presentation of a lecture. This will save time, paper and
toner AND give the student the same information.

This will require an add-in solution applied to each of the computers. You
can write one yourself, or take advantage of a free one a fellow MVP has
written.
