outlook 03 email password won't stick

i have the latest version of Office. about a month ago,
the dialog box popped up requesting the account password
to check email. i called the techs at MS and they lead
me through eliminating the problem by fixing the registry
key and profiles that were corrupt. the problem is back
again. since my system is set to check email every
minute, the pop up is a real nuissance. plus, i have no
idea if i'm actually getting all the mail. does anyone
have a solution to this reoccuring problem? thanks.

Normally, this issue is an OS issue. You referred to registry keys in your posting which resolved your
