outlook 2000, blocked senders

i want to block senders directly, not receive the message then delete it using the junk email rule. any suggestions

Outlook doesn't work that way. It needs to download the message first, then run it through the junk mail rule. You'd need to use some tool that looks at the mail before OUtlook.
