Outlook 2000 Calendar

We're on Office 2000 Pro here at work. Outlook has a new anomaly that
our IT guy hasn't heard of and can't resolve.

Calendar, in the folder list, is now highlighted and there is a 1 in
parenthesis, similar to what you see when you have a new message in the
Inbox. It looks like this:

Calendar (1)

Again, the word "Calendar" is highlighted (so is the '1').

I'd like to know how to get rid of this notation. I've been on the
same network with Exchange Server for 2 years but have never seen this
before. Any and all help greatly appreciated!

Have your network guy open Outlook with the /cleanreminders switch to see if
that helps.
