outlook 2000 can't find wab under vista? is there a solution?

I have over 4000 contacts in outlook 2000. It has loaded correctly on my
new machine, but cant find WAB message appear whenever I try to use email.
I would appreciate any help you can offer.

In general, Outlook 2000 is not compatible with Vista. You can get it to
work sometimes. See the section "Outlook and Vista" at

Thanks very much for your response. I eventually found a couple of clues
from the start you gave me, and finally importeda copy of my old PST file.
It worked beautifully!

Never import a PST. You're asking for trouble if you do.
