Outlook 2000 crashes when choosing a contact

Folks,

I have come across an interesting problem. I have Office
2000 SP-3. When going into Outlook and creating a new
message, I follow by clicking on the "To" tab. When the
address book pops up I enter the letters jo. Immediately
after the letter "o" is entered, outlook crashes. There
are no error messages. I can choose any other letters but
Outlook only crashes when I use the combination jo The
operating system is WIN2K Pro SP-3.

Pierre, I seem to be having the same problem w/ Outlook 2000 & Windows XP, SP 1. Recently, I seem to recall updating the Outlook software from the MS web site. Might you have also done this?
