Outlook 2000 - Custom Subject Line?

Hi,

Has anyone used Outlook for a legit mass mailing with a customized subject
line? For example:

Subject Line: Hello <<FNAME>>! Here is your newsletter!

Where FNAME would depend on the FNAME field? I've been able to use this
with third party applications, but was curious if anyone had been able to do
it within Outlook. Thanks!

There is no feature built into Outlook to accomplish this, unless you count
writing your own VBA code.
