Using Outlook 2000 SP-3
Internet Mail Only - Security Update
I'm receiving the error message 'The signature "Working" could not be
located. This siignature may have been removed.'
This only occurs when doing a Reply or Forward of a message that was sent to
me as Plain Text.
To recreate the problem, first send yourself a Plain Text message:
1. Tools...Options...Mail Format
2. Select 'Plain Text' as the message format, click 'OK'
3. E-mail a small message to yourself
Now change to HTML format and make the problem occur:
4. Tools...Options...Mail Format
5. Select 'HTML' as the message format
6. Select your HTML signature
7. Deactivate (uncheck) the 'Don't use when replying or forwarding' box
7. Click 'OK'
8. In your Inbox, highlight the Plain Text message you just received from
yourself, and click 'Reply'
On my system, the error message appears.
This happens for either Replies or Forwards, but only when dealing with
e-mails that were sent to me in Plain Text mode.
