Outlook 2000 hangs when Message sent

I have a Win 2000 machine running outlook 2000 on my SBS
network. Outlook 2k uses MS Exchange server. Outlook is
used as the message editor.

One machine only on the network is currently hanging when
it sends a mail. Outlook is receiving both internal and
external mail. All other network resources are working
from that and other machines without any problems

I have shut down both the machine in question, and the
server machine, neither of which has cured the problem.

Anyone recognise this problem? Can't seem to find cure in
the KB.

As a follow up. Using Word as the email editor seems to
have created a short term fix for the problem. Still would
appreciate help though.
