Outlook 2000 link is slow to open

When I click on a url in outlook inbox it takes 35 seconds
for the page to come up. I test my download speed and its
748kbs while upload is 248kbs. I would appreciate any
suggestions. I have applied all the updates and cleared
the temp files waste basket and cookies as well???

Try this open outlook click tools click options click the
Maintenance Tab see if the box Compact messages in the
background is checked if it is uncheck it click apply and
ok. That should fix it.
