On a W2k machine, after booting and loading, Outlook runs normally.
The trouble begins when we close it when we get the message "Please
wait while Outlook exits." In fact, it's locked up and we have to use
the Task Manager to close.
When we open it the next time (without a reboot) the program is
completely frozen and we can't do anything until we forcefully close
it and reboot.
I've reinstalled from the original disks, run SP 1a and 3, defragged,
etc. Opening it with the /cleanfreebusy switch didn't help.
This behavior began after defragging the C:\ drive and updating the OS
with the current SP's and security patches for W2K
Any ideas? Or am I looking at reinstalling the OS, etc.?
