Outlook 2000 --->> Outlook 2002

I bought a new pc with MS Ofs XP preloaded. I got problem
configuring Outlook 2002 as its no longer support
Microsoft Mail as in Outlook 2000. I used Outlook 2000 in
LAN for internal email. I cound'nt configure the Outlook
2002 to map the server as the post office and use the
previous address folder. Any other alternative beside
getting the Microsoft Exchange Server...Thanks for the
help in advance...
