Outlook 2000 shutdown problem

S

The problem has existed for some time now and I have used the detect an
repair program, even a remove and reinstall. The problem persist.

Outlook 2000 has all of the latest updates and is running on a Win2
machine.

The symptoms are that over half of the time if when Outlook is close
it can be found to still be running in the Task Manager. If I don't en
the program it often prevents the program from opening again
Specifically, if I click on the Outlook icon nothing will happen unti
all of the Outlook program(s) running in the Task Manager are manua
ended.

Other than that Outlook seems to be running fine.

I have absolutely no idea where to even begin with a problem like this
Your suggestions are greatly appreciated.
