outlook 2000 slow

Hi,
Thanx in advance for the help. I'm using Outlook 2000 on
windows 98. Just recently it has started opening e-mail
really slowly. Also, sometimes the dropdown menus are slow
to respond. It is making me nuts. Any ideas? All of my
other programs seem to be operating ok.
