When Outlook is open, it hangs a lot and I have to shut
down frequently to clear it but after about 30 minutes, it
starts up again hanging, the cursor will not move while
outlook is sending/receiving mail. This did not happen
until I had tried Spam Inspector specifically for Outlook
2000. I have since uninstalled this program but this
hanging problem persists and it's driving me crazy.
Now when I try to do run detect & repair from the CD
(which by the way had the latest SR-1a Pack installed on
it) and it tells me that the software can't find the
data1.msi file, which is there on the CD. It's like the
CD doesn't work. At first I thought it was my CD-ROM
drive but I put all software in there to check. I can
access all the files but it gives that message about the
data1.msi file.
Can anyone help me with this problem. Today I did
download and install Windows Installer because I've been
having some trouble installing Norton System Works.
