Outlook 2000

I am running Outlook 2000 on a small network with the
server using Microsoft Exchange. I can access the public
folders without any problem. If I export ALL the folders
to a PST file, will I be able to restore them on a stand
alone machine and still be able to access the public
folders.

Also where are the public folders stored on the c drive
