Just migrate to Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server.
Running Outlook 2002 with Office XP SP2 installed.
Using Roaming Profiles on Windows 2000 Domain.
Using Group Policies to redirect Application Data, My
Documents, Desktop and Start Menu to user roaming profile
directory.
The problem:
When a user goes to create/edit a signature, Outlook 2002
hangs, in the background Outlook 2002, processing goes
between 11 to 18 percent. But, Outlook 2002 never comes
back to be usable. User is force to logoff and force end
Outlook 2002 to recover. It is not a rights issue. The
problem only happens when using a roaming profile. If I
disable the group policy for the user, it still occurs.
Does anyone have solution? Or, is it time to microsoft on
the phone?
