Outlook 2002 Session will not close

Cannot get Outlook 2002 session to close after exiting the
program. For some reason it continues to run in active
memory. When I go to shut down, Windows Prompts me to
end/terminate the program. In the Task Bar Outlook.exe is
shown multiple times. Any thoughts on what may be causing
this? Thanks!

A PDA sill in the sync cradle, an anti-virus or anti-spam program integrated
into Outlook, and several other things can cause this.
