In Outlook 2000 there was a checkbox ineach e-mail
account's settings to 'not include account' or something
like that. This was useful as you could store accounts
that were not frequently needed by selecting this
option. I cannot find where this option has gone in
Outlook 2002. How do I not include an account? Or, for
instance, how do I send via a local smtp server account
occasionally without having to use that account to
receive mail also. If the account is included then I
must enter a POP account and then receive 2 e-mails - one
from the genuine account and one from the smtp laocal
account which I did not want to receive e-mail from at
all. Outlook 2002 seems to demand that both a incoming
and outgoing serve is present fro each account. The only
solution I have found is to delete the account and
recreate it each time it is needed. Very tedious and it
is difficult to remeber all the settings that are needed
with each account. In Outlook 2000 this was not a
problem as you did not have to include all accunts.
