Outlook 2002 will not forward emails if word 2002 is editor

Hi,
Has anyone run across this issue. I have a user who had a
problem forwarding a particular email. In an attempt to
resolve this issue, I updated his office xp with the
current sp1&2. After doing so the problem seems to have
worsen. When he tries to forward any emails now the "word
editor is starting " pop up appears and hangs his
outlook. On a side note he has a template word doc he
uses for his mail with the company logo on it. I have
removed word as the editor and he is fine, but he would
like to use the editor if possible. Any help would be
appreciated.
