Outlook 2003 and LCS

Hi. Using Outlook 2003 against Exchange 5.5 and LCS 2003. (SIP Service).

With Exchange 2000 IM, Outlook showed "presence" in the from field
regardless of wether the sender was a listed contact. Now, with LCS/SIP, it
will only show presence if the person is a known, listed, contact. This is
a fairly significant loss of functionality as far as we're concerned.

Anyone else experiencing this, or know of a workaround?
