outlook 2003 - Cant remove duplicate personal folder in list - error "operation failed an object not

I have tried deleting the .pst associated with this folder and then i
still cant open this personal folder in outlook. It is a duplicate
and i just want to elminate it from the Folder list in outlook.

Ive even tried creating the .pst that it is looking for and then
tryint to delelte the folder again, but it keeps giving me the error,
"operation failed an object no t found".

This means your mail profile is corrupted;

Create a new profile (do not copy it);
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles

To access your current pst-file in the new profile;
File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...

To set it as the default delivery location;
Tools-> E-mail Accounts...-> button Next-> use the dropdownlist below
