Outlook 2003 - can't scroll HTML msgs

The scroll wheel on my mouse works in OL2003 to scroll up/down for plain
text mgs, but doesn't do anything in HTML msgs.

Before I try to figure this out, can anyone tell me whether they get the
same result, or can you scroll HTML msgs with a scroll wheel?

I've got no problem with that. I suggest you try with the following;
-upgrade your mouse driver to the latest version available
-try it with a different brand mouse (don't forget the driver)
-do a repair of Office
-do a repair of Internet Explorer
