Outlook 2003 Error Message

Without any apparent change to the system, I am getting an erorr message as
follows:

"Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are invalid."

This message comes up every time I try to enter or update a contact, event,
or task. The system will not allow me to do any of these tasks. Any ideas as
to what is causing this and how to correct it?
