OutLook 2003 icon missing from Desktop

After installing Office 2003 over either Office 2000 or XP or for the first
time seems to remove or not put the OutLook icon (real, not a shortcut) on
the Desktop.

Traditionally, we had installed an OL profile by right-clicking on this icon
and setting it up.

Will we now have to get the icon from the Program Bar or the Quick Launch
Tool Bar, run it, and follow the wizard to set OL up.

Also...when it asks if you want to cache the server, I assume that means
create an OST file?

Thanks!

Correct - the Outlook icon is no longer placed on the desktop. Also, I find
it easier to create profiles by using the Mail Icon in Control Panel.

Thanks. Guess it's easier only if you know to do this, and, if you don't
mind doing more clicks.
