Hi all, I've recently had the pleasure of setting up an IMAP server and poplating it with 35000 emails that were sitting on a pop3 server for a few months (groan).
Of those emails, id estimate 33500 are spam, probably more. Now, when i downloaded these emails into outlook 2003, the junk filter would not work.
So, I set the system to download both headers and message bodies, after this the junk filter began todo its magic.
However, it was INCREDIBLY slow, approx checking 3 emails every minute. After 18 hours of scanning i had to restart the computer, I was hoping the junk filtering would resume where it left of but this is not the case, im left with 25000 emails that need filtering and for the life of me cannot figure out how to reapply the junk filter.
Any help or assistance would be GREATLY appreciate.
