This is a suggestion for Microsoft. I use Outlook 2003 on a laptop and
migrate between networks, and I have to change the SMTP server settings I use
depending on the network. When Outlook starts downloading mail, it brings
the dialog boxes for modifying the SMTP information to a screeching halt - I
can't type or tab or click or anything, until the mail has stopped
downloading. I think the mail should be downloading in a background or lower
priority thread so that I can make the changes.
