Hi all
I noticed that a lot of people had a problem with Outlook hanging when
attempting to open a message that had an attachment. I didn't see a
lot of solutions, and the few I saw didn't work. I found something
that seems to have helped me, and I thought I'd post it. Maybe it will
help someone else someday.
Anyway, I run McAfee VirusScan. I found that if I simply shut off
On-Access scanning, the emails won't hang. Then I turned On-Access
scanning back on, and Outlook continued to work. Weird.

On a clear disk, you can seek forever.
