Outlook 2003 Newbie: Quick Question?

J

Jeff

Hi!

I've finally switched to Outlook (2003) from my old mail client and
have enjoyed many of the features thus far. I've been able to find
solutions to all my "problems" so far except one. I'm hoping you
helpful people can help me!

I receive a lot of emails that have embedded images in them (that is
to say, the emails point to a graphic on the web [img
src="blah.gif"]). When I download all my messages and view them they
look fine while connected to the internet.

However, I would like to be able to view the images also when:
1) I am offline and not connected to the internet
2) Sometimes the images are no longer in cyberspace... I would still
like the functionality of seeing the images in my old mail.

I'm wondering if there is a way to automatically make every message
'capture' the image files and save them in the message for future
viewing (similiar to .mht (mhtml) files).

Does anyone have a solution for this or is there a plug-in available?

MANY thanks in advance!
-Jeff
