Outlook 2003 scheduling meeting in calendar.

I have a user that wants to invite user and when she click on the schedule
tab and types in the user name it doesn't appear with a history of users. She
types in the name then hit enter clicks on the check user button on the
toolbar then the name underlines. Other users in the same office seem to have
some sort of history because when they start to type a name it has a drop
down list or after they type in the name it underlines and show the
availability of the person they are inviting. Any suggestion on what settings
are different?

If they use the To field on the Appointment tab, then the drop-down will
appear. I don't believe there is any drop-down that will appear when typing
an attendee in the Attendee field on the Scheduling tab.

If you go to the scheduling tab instead of the appointment tab and type there
name in the line that says Click here and add name then hit enter the name
should underline and I would think that it was reading the .nk2 (history file
in Outlook) but she can't do that and most users can. She has to click on the
Check name icon on the toolbar and then it underlines which must be resolving
the name from our Exchange server. My thought was that she had the user name
in her history 2 times, once as a exchange account user and once as a POP3
account user. We forward the internet e-mail to the exchange user on the
server. But it all works fine on my computer and most other systems.

Just because it resolves does not mean it's using the autocompletion cache
(the NK2 file). As far as I can tell, the Scheduling tab does not reference
the NK2 file. It doesn't for me. It does, however, seem to utilize the
autoresolution feature of Outlook. CTRL-K brings up a list of people
matching the partial address I've already types.
