Outlook 2003 - send/receive error

I just installed Office 2003 and I am not able to
download my emails in Outlook 2003. I am getting the
following error:

- Receiving' reported error (0x8004210A) : 'The operation
timed out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP)
server. If you continue to receive this message, contact
your server administrator or Internet service provider
(ISP).'

It works fine in Outlook XP. I have checked my email
addresses and they are configure the same way in XP. I
still have one computer in Office XP.

Looking for Help in the matter.
