Outlook 2003 slow pull down menu

Hi, I have a XP Pro sp2 box with Outlook 2003 installed. Since the install
whenever I want to add an attachment to an email I choose the attachment
paper clip and use the pull down menu to find the attachment. When I click
the pull down menu it takes up to 3 minutes for it to populate. Any ideas?
