I recently upgraded to Office 2003, including Outlook. All is fine
but for one extremely bizarre and irritating problem with Outlook
2003. After I bootup and longon to Windows the first thing I do is
check the email. And it now takes forever for Outlook 2003 to load.
Anywhere for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
Now here is what is so strange. Any subsequent launchings of Outlook
2003, poof....it loads immediately. As long as I do not logoff or
shutdown the computer, it loads incredibly fast. It is only that
first initial launch that takes forever. This behaviour is only with
Outlook. No problem with the other 2003 Office applications.
Can anyone explain this behavior, and what I can do to speed up the
initail load time of Outlook?
Thanks in advance
