outlook 2003 will not print shared calendar

We recently did an office update and now it won't let us print out a shared
calendar for daily or trifold views. I can do weekly, memo or monthly and it
works fine.
We are getting a
messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If this problem
persists, please restart outlook.

But even restarting doesn't help.
