Outlook 2003 wont' start

I am running XP Pro 5.1.2600 SP 1 Build 2600 on a Dell
Inspiron 5000 - I meet the hardware requirements for
Office 2003. Every application in Office 2003 runs just
fine except when I try to start Outlook, it opens up and
I see everything and then it crashes. I've gone to
Windows Update and have the latest of everything but it
still won't run. I've done a shutdown since installing.
I'm baffled. Any ideas?

Have you tried reinstalling Outlook?
