The Contacts frame displayed on the left side of the screen shows all my
contacts folders but not in sub-directory or even alphabetical format? They
look Ok when viewed in the Folder List frame though.

The Contacts View doesn't show subfolder structure. It's not meant to. It
will show all your Contacts folders on the same level.
