I tried to send an email of 12mb but it will not send and
I cannot delete it. any ideas

First, have a pint of Guiness.
Second, don't send an attachment that large again without
zipping it first.

Click File | Work Offline. Then you should be able to delete the message
from the Outbox. After it's deleted you can go back to File | Work Offline
to reconnect.
You may want to stick to smaller attachments or use a compression program
like WinZip.
