Outlook 2003

After having loading Office 2003 and then all the Office
Updates from Microsoft, a day or two later, the user
apparently received one or more e-mails that when he
selects anything in the Inbox (where his mail goes)
Outlook hangs. The window and the OS are fine. He just
selects close and an error message tells him Outlook Not
Responding, then END to exit. The Send/Receive icon in
the bottom right corner says 0%. He can still send and
receive mail before it hangs. The largest message is
253KB. His total PST size is 195MB. He does have folders
under his inbox. I don't know if that makes a difference.
I can't even select the entire group and delete. I
created a new PST file and tried to copy the contents, but
that didn't seem to help either.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

The user apparently was able to resolve the problem by
deleting the e-mails (one or two per Outlook hang) and
then rebooting the computer. I guess when all else fails -
- Reboot.

Thanks anyway,

Nate
