Outlook 2007: Opening newly created contact deletes the record.

Hi,

I have seen something completely bizarre. If I create a new conact and then
hit "Save and Close" it is added to the Contacts folder. No surprises
there. Then what I do is I search for the contact, find it, and open it.
After the contact is open (say 10 seconds), or definitely when I close it,
it is deleted from the Contact folder. It's ridiculious. Please tell me
someone else has seen this. Even better would be for someone to have a
solution for me.
