Outlook account properties tab missing

I discovered that the reason I am unable to send any e-
mail is that the e-mail Account Properties is missing the
security tab
i.e. tools - accounts - properties
There is no longer a Security tab accross the top. Anyway
to fix this? I ran the Detect and Repair to no avail.
The program will not reinstall and I don't want to loose
all my addresses and e-mails.

The Security tab appears on Tools->OPTIONS.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
