outlook address book is not auto filling in address

I just installed XP and Office 2002 XP and I see that my outlook address
book is not filling in address in my old version each time I typed in a
address outlook added it to the address book

Outlook 2002's AutoComplete feature works against addresses you've
previously typed in; it doesn't work against your Contacts list. You can
press CTRL+K to manually resolve a name or partial name against your
Contacts, and Outlook will save the resolution for future use.

list my order version did it. How can I make the 2002 version do it?

I'm not sure I understand what you just asked...but versions of Outlook
earlier than 2002 (i.e., 2000 and earlier) had AutoResolution rather than
AutoComplete. AutoResolution basically did what CTRL+K does now, except you
didn't have to press CTRL+K to get it to work. Now you do.
