Outlook always tries to Save a Picture as BMP

When someone inserts a picture in an email message to me,
if I try and (left click) Save the Picture, my only choice
is to Save As a .bmp file. This makes for some huge
images. How can I save it as a .jpg file and not eat up
so much HDD space? Thanks.
