Hi,

In an running XP Pro with Office XP installed.

I find that Outlook as well as Outlook Express is very
slow when starting up. I have searched Microsoft sites
and advice ranged from re-installing IE, Outlook, Outlook
Express and Messenger. Tried all but it did not cure the
problem.

Also found an article asking to delete the registry key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Prote
ctedStorage

To re-create the ProtectedStorage registry key:
Click Start, point to Programs, and then click MS DOS

and then press ENTER.
Type exit, and then press ENTER to close the MS-DOS
Prompt window.
Quit all programs, and then restart the computer.

I deleted the key as suggested, now there is no way of
recreating it. I tried re-installing again. Still no key
in the registry.

How do I solve this, any ideas ?
