Outlook archive folders problems

S

Sandra

I have a user that is mapped to four .pst files (totaling
approx. 1.45GB)in her Outlook. Here's the breakdown

302MB -2000
578MB -2001
342MB -2002
235MB -2003

She's constantly crashing and this has been very
frustrating for her. She must absolutely keep everything
mapped to for reference purposes and the folder is located
in a snap file server (NAS). Moving her archive ot her
local drive is not an option because we need it backed up
on a daily.

Why does she need to keep them open all the time? It's easy enough to
open them on an as-needed basis via File | Open...

Even so, though, I don't know why having those files open would cause
constant crashing. Is she getting any error messages, and if so, what
are they? Is she always doing the same type of thing when the crashes
occur, or is it random?
