Hi! I am also looking at developing an application for Outlook. Someone in our payroll dept had the brilliant idea to have employees use Excel workbooks to report their time, each employee sending one to their Supervisor, the Sup then forwards those emails and/or workbooks to their Manager and the Manager forwards them on to Payroll (the forwarding is supposed to constitute approval). Now Payroll gets hit with about 2,100 Excel workbooks via Email/Outlook every 2 weeks. These emails could be as much as 3 "forwards" deep
I'm looking for a quick solution that Payroll can use to detach the hundreds of emailed Excel files out of an Outlook inbox and save them to a LAN directory, regardless whether there's one attachment or 50. And I'm not very experienced at OO programming yet...I've used Access VBA a bit, but am by no means an expert. Is this something I can use "Redemption" for, or is there a better solution?
